The CTVFC Scholarship
In 1995 the membership of Clinton Township Volunteer Fire Company decided to enact a scholarship program as an incentive to bolster the ranks of Junior Firemen’s Association. It was determined that the future of the fire service depended upon recruiting individuals for service to their fellow man and community.
The Fire Department saw the passing of two of its most beloved and respected members at this time. Their families asked for memorial contributions to be made to the fire department. This gift is what initially funded the scholarship program and it carries the name of these two individuals: Donald W. Canada and Dorsey Crevelling.
The requirements to receive the Donald W. Canada & Dorsey Crevelling Memorial Award are not difficult to achieve. The Fire Department wants to see individuals attend post secondary education and become productive members
of society with a strong interest in community service. This is the principle
of this scholarship. Serve your fellow man and community.
