Ambulance Service Continued
There presently is not a membership fee requirement for our ambulance service. As a resident and taxpayer of Clinton, Brady, or Washington Townships, we consider you as members to our ambulance service. What this means is that if you should need our service, we will provide it to you. We will submit a bill to your insurance company and receive payment from either your insurance company or you personally. It is our policy to NOT submit unpaid ambulance bills to a collection agency for our residents. We will work with you to satisfy your bill to us if needed. If you do not have insurance, we will still provide the same service to you. We do not discriminate for any reason. If you receive payment from your insurance company for an ambulance transport, it is your responsibility to submit this payment to the Fire Company. By doing so, this allows us to keep our rates low, to not require ambulance memberships, and to not raise taxes to provide these services. Simply stated, we are here to serve you and those who visit or work in our community.
Lastly, should you find yourself as a patient in one of our ambulances; you may receive a survey form in the mail from the Fire Company. This survey will have the date of the incident, and it will list the crewmembers that provided care for you. The survey contains a few questions about your experience with our service and provides a space for you to write your comments about our service. Please fill out the survey and return it to the Fire Company. These surveys allow us to continuously improve our service and to assure that our employees and volunteers are attending to your needs.
